 | Aerial Silk Artist: Cori is a Circus aerialist who performs on aerial silks, aerial hoop and dance trapeze. Aerial silks is also referred to as aerial tissu, aerial fabric and aerial "tissu", which is French for fabric. She has performed in many varied venues around Vancouver, primarily with the Circus Aerials Society and previously with the VCS. Some events she has performed with include The Canvas Lounge, the Rouge et Blue fund raiser at Round House Community Centre, The Carnival Band at Strathcona Park, Dr. Peter Foundation HIV Fund raising event, Pinnacle Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel, Gossip nightclub, Celebrities nightclub, the PNE, Garden Auditorium, through Circus West to name a few. Outside of Vancouver, Cori has also been part of performances for Douglas College in New Westminster, the Lion's Bay Olympic Torch Celebration, Relate Church in Surrey, BC, weddings in Whistler and a gala celebration for the International Pediatric Transplant Association in Montreal, Quebec. |
